This is a screenshot facing directly up the chimney. You can see the edges of the lights and loops of guide wire. More importantly, you can see a full length flue crack.

This shattered flue section is right in the middle of the chimney. It was nearly impossible to see from the top or bottom. This would have been very easy to miss and a dangerous liability if not for the Sweeper Peeper. Take the few minutes to scan all of your inspections, it could save a life.

Check out this horrendous unfilled corbelled brick! How many years of inspections has this chimney had without this being caught? Somethings just can't be caught with the naked eye. An inspection is never complete without a camera; you never know what you'll find just past the damper.
